If you loved Thread Heaven, you will love Thread Magic. It's not beeswax, it may be silicone but I'm not for sure about that. It does help to prevent tangling and fraying in my hand appliqué thread. 

The manufacturer says that it is safe for all threads and fabrics and that it is for metallic and specialty threads. 

The package comes with instructions showing how to use this product right on your sewing machine. There is a cute little square that you can stick to your machine so that the top thread is conditioned before it goes through the needle. Use the larger container to condition bobbin thread.
